Max Underhill is the Managing Director of the Maxumise Group of Companies (incorporating the Maxumise and HRmonise businesses) that specialise in organisational performance issues with an emphasis on the alignment of people programs with the organisation’s strategic direction.
Max has conducted a large number of strategic planning workshops, reviews and organisational restructuring projects for the government, non-government and private sector. These projects have included reviews in the service, education, disability, finance, manufacturing, food, building and construction, rural, mining, and pharmaceutical, wholesale/distribution, energy, and port and aviation industries. Max has also worked on strategy and policy development projects for private sector organisations and Government.
Max has been deeply involved in strategic planning, organisational restructuring and performance management and the managing of significant change as organisations implemented the restructures and change.
Anna Underhill is a Director, business manager and a senior consultant for the Maxumise companies and is involved in the development of human resources and management systems for a wide range of organisations. Anna is responsible for the conversion of the Maxumise methodologies to IT based systems, overseeing the IT staff and managing the development process.
Anna has been involved with the consulting and workshops including strategic planning workshops for Maxumise clients, staff climate surveys, developing policies and procedures and associated manuals, recruitment, selection and succession planning and developing and delivering training. Anna has a background in education, having taught at secondary and tertiary institutions.

Judi Cooper brings more than 25 years’ experience in line and function management at an executive level, and as a consultant in human resource management and staff recruitment. This has included development of policy, selection and placement, induction, work planning, delegations, reporting relationships, performance management including duty statements and performance review, as well as resources management, monitoring and quality control.
She has worked as a mentor and/or ‘counterpart’ and trainer to assist staff to ‘step up’ to leadership roles. She has conducted needs assessment/skills audits for implementing training for staff, implemented change management principals and practice and also developed and delivered management policy and strategies and training programs to improve performance and to support good governance in government and civil organisations.
She has also has led the review, design, and implementation of projects involving research, strategic planning, strategy development, and targeted project implementation for improved service delivery with non-government and government and its agencies.
